Hello
%$first name$% and welcome to this week's edition of my newsletter. We have
been talking in recent weeks about finding solutions to our problems and tools
that can make the transition to a new reality easier. In this week's edition
we will be looking at the idea - "All Our Prayers Are Answered".
When “Joe” prays, “I’m
poor God, please, make me rich”, that prayer will be
answered, because all our prayers are answered, believe it or not.
But the answer won’t be what “Joe” hoped for nor will the answer
come in the way “Joe” may have thought prayers were answered.
Because you and I are
individualizations of God we have undiscovered and untapped god-like
powers. In fact, we have the power to answer our own prayers, and we
are already doing that, consciously or not!
It is not necessary that we
believe this in order to have it work for us; the power is there,
functioning, manifesting results, whether we believe we have the
power or not. So, how powerful can we be if we truly understood this
power and learn how to use it to our advantage on a daily basis?
If you are having a hard time
believing that you are that powerful, that’s okay. Read on, and you
may change your mind.
If we are not already
experiencing abundance in our life, in health, wealth and/or
relationships, it would be easy for us to make a case proving our
powerlessness by simply pointing at the solid evidence—our life and
our less-than-ideal circumstances.
For instance, maybe we are
seeing the shaky condition of our finances as proof that we lack the
power to change anything. Maybe we are afflicted by an illness or
dis-ease, or we are in a relationship with serious problems. Any one
of the above situations could have us feeling powerless. But let’s
see if we can shed a different sort of light on that solid evidence.
It would only be natural that
we see our unpaid bills, as the cause of our financial dilemma, but
what if our insufficient income were the effect, not the cause of
our financial problems?
-
What if our focus on not having enough money to
pay those bills was the creative force manifesting more of the
same?
-
What if our focus on the problem of being in
poor health was the cause of our continued poor health?
-
What if our attention on the problems in our
relationship was the causal force perpetuating these problems?
I know our ego doesn’t want us
to hear that, but that’s exactly what’s happening! Here‘s how it
works; what we believe and feel about life creates our reality. And
that reality concept is the model the Universe must follow to
lovingly give us what we have created with our being choice.
Our reality concept, the
context for our life, is created by simply choosing who we will be
and what we will believe to be true for us.
Our experiences in life will
seemingly provide us with solid evidence that will seem to prove our
case as a victim to those circumstances, but only because we have a
misconception of the laws of cause and effect. By simply choosing
who we would BE, we have established the cause; our circumstances
are merely the end result—the effect of our BEING choice.
If our situation, in any aspect
of our life, health, wealth, or relationships is less than
desirable, we have manifested those undesirable results as a result
of some past BEING choices. To see how that works, let’s go back and
look at Joe’s prayer, “I’m poor God, please, make me rich”.
As I said, earlier, “Joe’s”
prayer must be answered, because all our prayers are answered, but
not necessarily in the way we’ve been led to believe. The only true
prayer, the prayer that always gets results are our BEING
statements—our “I Am” statements provide the framework
by which the Universe gives us what we want.
In the above example, poor is
what “Joe” used to follow his, “I am” statement with,
and the answer to “Joe’s” I’m poor prayer will just
naturally be, the manifested experience of being poor. And once we
understand that, even Joe’s make me rich, beseeching
prayer is just another way of saying, “I am poor”.
So, when we begin to pay closer
attention to what words we are adding to our “I am”
statements, what we will learn from listening to not only our
thoughts but our spoken words may come as a surprise—especially
considering the fact that all our “I am” statements
are actually powerful prayers that will be answered, whether or not
that’s what we really wanted.
Next week we will expanding on this weeks
topic with a look at "How Prayers Get Answered".
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of
your day. I hope you have found this information empowering. I hope you have a
pleasant weekend and a magnificent week ahead. I look forward to our next
meeting.
