Why do we need a winner’s attitude to
attract what we want?
What we haven’t understood about
the Law of Attraction is that it works through us, as us. We are magnets
attracting who and what belongs in the reality of our BEING choices. Like a
tomato seed attracts what it needs from the soil, our BEING choices attract
corresponding content from the universe.
Our reality concept is a seed
planted in the universal consciousness that must manifest appropriate
circumstances and content. Our self concept automatically attracts people
and situations that correspond to our self-image. Our belief system
manifests proof of what we believe and sets a limit on what can and cannot
show up in our lives. And our attitude charges our magnetism with positive
or negative to either repel or attract what we want.
How we feel about our life and
circumstances determines our attitude and our attitude is the attracting or
repelling force. Out of all five ways you, as an individualization of God,
have individuated yourself, your attitude is the most powerful magnetic
force.
So, how do you turn your
attitude from negative to positive and attract what you really want?
With your attention fully focused
on your problems, you’ll have a loser’s attitude that attracts even more
reasons to feel like a loser. But once you've changed your focus from the
problem to its solution, visualizing what your life would be like with
your problem solved, you’ll have the winner’s attitude and attract what you
DO want.
What's the nature of the
power in your attitude?
Either one of two powerful
emotions determine whether you have a winner’s or a loser’s attitude. Our
magnetic force is charged with either love, or fear. While focused on the
problem you'll be in the survival mode which is based in fear. To acquire
the winner’s attitude, you’ll want to focus on the problem’s solution and
the vision of your life as it IS in your vision of the problem solved. Of
course reversing the charge of your magnetic force is easier said than done.
Facing your fear
Fear is a powerful emotion that
won’t go away on command. In fact, the more you resist it, the more it
persists. Fear is your ego’s survival emotion, designed to protect you from
harm, real or imagined. So the only way out of the fear can only be through
it and out the other side with the winner's attitude.
To acquire a winner’s attitude
Begin the process by asking
yourself what you are afraid of. Fear is always the avoidance of some form
of pain, real or imagined. As the famous author, Mark Twain once said,
