Hi %$firstname$%,
Your servant, not your master
As
I have mentioned many times in past editions of the newsletter, you are not your
ego. You are a spiritual being, experiencing a chosen reality in a material
world. Your ego serves you by providing the means by which you get to experience
that reality. Ego provides you with that reality experience by taking charge, by
maintaining your chosen reality.
Once we turn reality maintenance over to our ego,
we tend to forget who is in charge.
Your ego is your servant, not your master. To be master of your fate, you must
put yourself back in charge.
Back in Charge
Now that you're back in charge and understand ego's fear of change, you're being
objective, and can deal with ego's fears as an adult dealing with a frightened
child. When you are ready to experience the fear (as your ego), step out of that
role, take charge and acknowledge your ego's reasons for being afraid. Then
switch your attitude from fear to faith, and from fear to empowerment.
To
rebuild your faith in yourself and in your new vision of reality, take time to
remember how you felt when you first found the courage to chose that vision.
Bring your thinking back to the benefits of being transformed. Find your list of
twenty reasons for becoming successful and read those benefits aloud every time
you have doubts. Rekindle the fire of desire that gave you the courage to commit
to a better life in the first place. If you would like to learn more about
creating your list of twenty reasons please read "Being The Solution" - Chapter
7 (Creating A Burning Desire).
Your battle with the ego will be won only if you maintain a clear mental image
of yourself enjoying the success you wanted.
Until you are committed
You have the God-given power to choose that better life for yourself.
If
you are ready to find the way out of your box, take a look at the three most
powerful steps you must take:
1.
Create a powerful vision
2.
Create a burning desire for that vision
3.
Choose to BE the one in that vision!
Ask yourself: "Is my WHY powerful enough to take me past my ego's determination
to maintain the status quo?" If it's not, work on your vision; see yourself
already enjoying the benefits of being in that new vision (bigger box). Once
your vision becomes believable, make your new BEING choice.
Nothing really happens until you make the new BEING commitment. But once you are
committed, you can expect your new reality to be demonstrated by an ego with a
new mission in life.
