Once you make a Being decision, you then need to begin the Doing
part!
So unless
you've bought your ticket
A dream
without an action step is just a dream. No matter how much you dream it
or talk about it, it's still just a dream. Until you take that first
step down the yellow brick road towards your new reality, your dream is
a fairy tale that can not have a happy ending except in your dreams.
If you keep saying you intend to go to Disney World,
but never get around to buying a ticket or packing your suitcase, I will
know that your trip to Disney World is just something to talk about,
never your real intention. Your intention is to dream and talk about
it, not to do it. You'll know you're on your way when you've made your
first move in that direction.
If you sincerely intend to be rich, prove it to
yourself, by making a move. A good first step, after you've
prioritized your list of twenty reasons for becoming rich, is to do
something, anything, to set the wheels in motion to acheive the most important
reason at the top of your list. Stop reading now, and ask yourself what
that move will be and then make it!
Until one
is committed
No matter how
much you think you want something, nothing happens until you're
committed. Being committed means being willing to: DO whatever it
takes for as long as it takes.
If you're not that committed, you're probably not
serious about having the lifestyle change you say you want. Those who
promote persistence as a success tool should know that persistence works
only after a BEING commitment is made.
Getting past your ego's resistance will require your
powerful commitment to make it happen. You will have set the wheels in
motion when you make that commitment. Once you are committed, you will
boldly act in ways to make it happen. That's when the power of the
Universe gets behind your intention. The following quote is my favorite
on the subject of commitment. It's worth repeating.
The
Transformation Process
Transformation
truly is the key to having your life change to be the way you want it.
So, how do you go about the process of transforming yourself into BEING
the person you will need to be in order to have that quality of life
change? The answer is simple: you merely change the pattern of your
thinking.
Your habitual
thought patterns and your beliefs make you who you are. Any thinking
pattern that keeps you poor in any aspect of your life is merely a bad
habit.
We first
make our habits
and then
our habits make us.

How do you break
a bad thinking habit? That will be the subject of next week's
newsletter.
