You Can Win The Game If..

Winning at
the Game of Life
To
really win at The Game of Life you must:
- First realize that life is just a game to be
played
- Know the real purpose of the Game
- Learn the rules and how to play by the rules
- Remain objective, knowing that you are not your
ego
Last week I talked about the Spiritual Laws. Spiritual
Laws are the rules of play for The Game Of Life.
The most interesting aspect of The Game of Life and
it's rules is that:
- you cannot refuse to play in The Game, and
- the rules of the Game cannot be broken.
You see, this is God's Game we're playing, a game that
we were born into, like it or not.
In my opinion, even when you try to choose out of the
Game, you'll be born back into it at another level. You're stuck in the Game;
you might as well learn to play to win.

God gave you and I the power of choice, an awesome
power, once we learn to use it wisely.
The power of choice is only one of God's laws, that
cannot be broken. Think about it; in each situation in life, you must choose to:
- Stand and fight
- Run and hide
- Or rise above the problem (a new BEING Choice).
But you
cannot NOT choose
Even when you
choose NOT to choose, you're still choosing a way of BEING, relative to
the situation faced.
I'm sure that the idea behind giving you the power of
choice was that one day you'd wake up and learn to use that power wisely, and
having learned, know who you are.
It's the same with all Spiritual Laws. Learning to use
them wisely gives you awesome power and awesome results. And each time you use
your power, you become just a little wiser and more self-aware.
Self-aware?
What does that mean?
Well, who are
you? According to the bible, you and I were created in the image and likeness of
God. And no matter how much we may resist the idea, that makes you and I
individualizations of God, with awesome powers we have not yet learned to use
wisely.
That doesn't make you God any more than one star is the
Universe, or a single drop of water the ocean, but if you'll stop and think
about it for just a moment, you'll see that a single drop of water has all the
same attributes as the whole ocean.
So, you DO have the power, whether you learn to use
it wisely or not!
The awesome truth is: you are powerful beyond your
wildest dreams.
So, don't ask yourself,
Do I have the power?
Ask yourself,
How have I used the power?
Or better yet,
How can I learn to use it wisely?
The following comes from "Being The Solution", Chapter
4, page 45.
Your Purpose
in The Game
To play at
the game and win, you must understand that your purpose in the Game is to
discover your true identity as God individualized. You do that by making new
BEING choices and then by being and becoming that choice (growing into the
role).
Playing out the role is important; you must allow
yourself the time to grow into the role you've chosen. But to win at the Game,
you must continually maintain an overview that allows you to see that it's your
ego playing out the role you've chosen, not the real you.
You are not
your ego
You are the
one who wrote the script; ego merely plays out the role as you've written it.
And when you want something you don't have, you must rewrite the script. The new
script requires a transformation in consciousness.
You'll be writing a new script by making a new BEING
choice.
Making a new BEING choice sounds so easy doesn't it?
Sorry, your ego doesn't want you making that change, so
you'll need help in getting that decision past your ego's resistance.
In
conclusion:
You have the
power; you have always had it. In fact, it's impossible for us not to have it!
If what you want isn't showing up in your life, your
obviously using your power to create a reality of not having it. Isn't it time
you learned how to point that power in the right direction!
No matter what you want from life, it's yours when
you learn how to attract who and what you want into it!

Your Black Door
Remember the story about the political prisoners who
would rather face a hungry lion in the pit than deal with the fearful unknown
outside the black door? You also have a black door you are afraid to walk
through.
You live in a self-built box, (we all do) and
you're stuck in that reality concept with those circumstances, because
you're afraid of the unknown outside that box. That's YOUR Black Door.
And unless you are far above the average, your fear of what might or
might not happen, if you ventured outside your current reality, will
have you stopped dead in your tracks. The average person is so
thoroughly attached to the role of a victim, he or she wouldn't consider
choosing out and into more rewarding circumstances.
That's because, choosing out of the victim's role would
mean sacrificing his or her identity.

Just Say "I Am"
Hopefully, we have learned in previous chapters that we
create our own reality by choosing who to be. We say the magic words, "I Am",
and then everything that belongs to us by right of consciousness, by right of
the choice, will be added unto us.
The Bible says it this way:
But, seek you first the kingdom of God, and his
righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
The kingdom of God is "I Am".
