The Real Reason for
Spiritual Laws
You have the power!
Spiritual laws were obviously created
with the ultimate purpose of having you and I discover who we really are. Who
are we?
According to the Bible, you and I were
created in the image and likeness of God. And no matter how much we may resist
the idea, that makes you and I individualizations of God, with awesome powers we
have not yet learned to use wisely.
That doesn't make you God any more than
a drop of water is the ocean, or one star, the Universe, but if you'll stop and
think about it for just a moment, you'll see that a single drop of water has all
the same attributes as the whole ocean.
The awesome truth is: You are
powerful beyond your wildest dreams.
So, the questions is not, Do you have
the power? but,
How have you used your
power?
For instance:
No matter whether you thing you can
...or you thing you can't,
...you're right! --Henry Ford
You see, you and I use this great power
by choosing who we will BE, and with each BEING Choice, create our own reality.
The spiritual law engaged, in this case, is the Law of Being. We become
what we think about.
Like all
spiritual laws, the Law of Being cannot be broken or set aside and not used, nor
can you not have the power to choose who you will BE. You are choosing, even
when you choose not to choose.
You can even apply this great Law of
Being and exercise your awesome power of choice by choosing to BE powerless,
telling the world and yourself that you have no power. Can you see the cosmic
joke in this?
A Double-Edged Sword
A Spiritual Law is a double-edged sword that cuts both
ways, making you powerful or powerless, your choice.
By applying these laws consciously or
unconsciously, we either reap the benefits of our wisdom or suffer the
consequence of our ignorance.
Spiritual laws are principles that
cannot be broken, and they apply in all cases whether we are aware of them or
not. They are the rules in The Game of Life. The purpose of the Game is that
you, sooner or later, learn the rules and win, and in the winning discover the
real you.
To learn the rules so you can win at The Game of Life,

Reaping The Consequences of Ignorance
Those who pay attention learn, with increasing awareness,
from each experience of testing the law with a new BEING commitment.
For instance: The Law of Attraction
makes you poor or poorer as long as your main focus in life is on what you don't
have.
But that same law will make you rich if
you change your point of view from a "have not" to a "have consciousness". I
call the "have not" viewpoint a poverty consciousness and the "have" reality a
prosperity consciousness.
The Bible says it this way:
For whosoever hath, to him shall be give,
and he shall have more abundance;
...but whosoever hath not,
from him shall be taken away even that he hath.
Whosoever hath? Hath what? What
does that Bible quote mean? What must one have in order to have more
abundance?
Most of us would answer more money,
but that wouldn't be the correct answer. Having
money doesn't make you rich, but the right attitude about having it does.
Please note that this attitude is a BEING Choice,
and once you have it, its called a prosperity consciousness.
Once you acquire the consciousness, you
will attract money like a magnet attracts metal filings. Money flows toward
those who have that consciousness and away from those who don't.
Wealthy people have a certain way of
feeling about themselves in their relationship to money that attracts more of
it. If you're suffering from the effects of a negative cash flow, it is because
you DO NOT have the prosperous feeling that is necessary for attracting money.
You can apply this same principle, The
Law of Attraction, and attract new friends, a loving relationship, a new job or
whatever you want from life that you don't now have.
You have the power; you have always
had it. In fact, it's impossible for not to have it!
Isn't it time you used that power
constructively, to reverse your polarity so that you attract who and what you
want into your life?

"To God Or As God" - Pg. 19 & 20
The BEING Principle
So, what does this power of God in you look like? And
if you have the power, why haven't you been aware of it until now? Why haven't
you used that awesome power to make yourself rich and powerful?
The power of God in you shows up as the BEING
Principle, that's the power to choose who you will be. You do that
(choose who to BE) every time you think. That's why we become what we
think about, an awesome power, whether you've realized it or not.
Your problem has been that you were not aware you were
choosing who to BE with every thought.

Chapter 1 - The Magic of Being
Transformed
from my book
"So, Why Aren't You Rich?" -
Pg. 15
Defining The Words
The words "rich" and "poor" mean different things to
each of us. What's rich for me would be poverty to J. Paul Getty. So, let us
agree, for the purpose of this discussion, what I mean by those terms. I say:
"Poor" describes our state of mind if we lack love,
good health, money, self-respect or anything
else we need to make us whole and complete.
By my definition, you could have all the money
in world and still be poor if you didn't love yourself. And if your life
were filled with loving relationships, but you couldn't pay your bills,
you'd be poor. Poverty can be experienced in many forms and ways and is
usually self-imposed.
