An Habitual Way of Thinking
You've applied the BEING SOLUTION when you've
chosen to BE someone who no longer has the problem.
A friend called during the holidays to
ask if I would coach him through a problem he said he had every Christmas. He
was feeling sad and depressed and yet unable to get in touch with what the
sadness was about.
He said this bad mood often showed up
during the Christmas season. He assumed that this was something he needed to
process before he could find his way out of it. And he asked for my help in
processing it.
I agreed to work with him on it and
then suggested that he might be approaching the problem from the wrong
direction. I said, "Your problem originated as a
BEING choice and the solution to your problem will be new BEING choice."
If you want to solve your problem,
first choose your way past it. Ask yourself, who you would be BEING if you no
longer had that problem and then chose to BE that person.
I explained that once he'd chosen, his
problem would still exist, but he'd be tackling it with a new positive attitude,
from a position of power.
I reminded him that his problem was
nothing more than a habitual way of thinking and feeling that showed up
around Christmas time because some past experience of an unhappy Christmas had
become a habitual way of feeling about that holiday.
As soon as he saw the light, he chose
out of the funk he was in and about ten minutes after he had asked for help, he
was in a brand new frame of mind.
Solving any problem with a new BEING
choice is a little like turning on the light. One moment you are in total
darkness and after a flip of the switch you're in the light, total light.
What You Might Learn From This Example
An ego mood is just that, a moment of darkness. But when
the spirit in you comes alive with the enthusiasm that comes with a new BEING
commitment, you are somehow, suddenly out of the tunnel of darkness and into the
light. You will have replaced the sadness with enthusiasm!
Life Is A BEING Choice
Every moment of now requires a BEING choice. When you wise
up, when you see the light, you'll realize that your escape from sadness is
nothing more or less than making a new BEING choice to replace the sadness.

Chapter 1 - The Quantum Leap
"To God Or As God" - Pg. 4
The Quantum Leap
Quantum leap is a term used in quantum
physics to describe the explosive and unpredictable movements of a
photo, the smallest known particle of matter. The photon's rapid moves
seem almost magical as it quantum leaps from one place to another so
fast it seems to be in both places at once.
Metaphorically speaking, the photon seems to
get from home base to third plate without touching the bases in between.
Its moves are so fast you can't see them happening. Science calls these
photon moves, the quantum leap. I wonder, is the photon a tiny
consciousness choosing to BE somewhere else, and then arriving there
instantaneously? Hmm?
That's an interesting idea, because we human
beings also occasionally take quantum leaps. In the blink of an eye, we
can take ourselves out of one reality concept and into another by simply
changing our minds about who we will be. And that self-concept change is
actually a quantum leap in consciousness!

Chapter 3 - The Success Secret
from my book
"So, Why Aren't You Rich?" -
Pg. 70 & 71
"You Can't Get Out of Here"
... For the people in one small Midwest
village, the shortest distance to town was a path through the cemetery.
One afternoon, the gravediggers got a rush call to dig a grave across
that well, worn path to town.
Soon after dark, on his way to town through the
cemetery, Joe fell into that open grave. After several unsuccessful
attempts to get out of the freshly-dug grave, Joe decided he would sit
back and wait for help. Before long, he heard his friend Harry coming
down the path, whistling away the ghosts and goblins he imagined present
on a dark night in the cemetery.
Not wanting to scare his friend Harry with
voices from the grave, Joe waited too long to speak, and his friend fell
into the opposite end of the same open grave. Since the damage was done,
just for fun, Joe decide to wait and see what Harry would do.
Sure enough, just like Joe had done, Harry
jumped and scrambled and did everything he could think of, trying
desperately to get out of the grave. Then Joe reached out, tapped Harry
on the should, and said,
You can't get out of here.
But Harry did!
