BEING A Free Soul
As an individualization of God, you've individuated yourself in five ways
of being.
-
Your self concept
-
Your belief system
-
Your story
-
Your attachments
-
Your attitude
All five of these ways of being you, have attracted who and what you have in
your life right now. And realize it or not, you are very much attached to all
five aspects of your individuation. Because you are attached, you are not a free
soul.
If you want to be a free soul, notice that
all five of the above aspects of
your individuation have set limits as to what you may or may not have in
your life. To have life get any better, you'll have to move beyond those self
set limits. Every time you've found the courage to do that in the past, you've
grown your confidence, your consciousness and your self worth, each time taking
you a step further down the yellow brick road of self discovery.
The transformation process might be described as the unfolding of your BEING,
the unfolding of your God self into a reality of greater awareness. To help you
understand and perhaps simplify the process, let's look at your self concept,
what it consists of and how you've created it.
Your god power is in your "I AM" statement.
With each "I am" you think or
speak you are choosing who you will be, how to relate to present circumstances.
You will be choosing how you will relate to the people, life situations and
things in your life. Basically all things are relative.
Over the years, you've created your
self concept by choosing who you will be relative to everyone and everything
else in your life. When you stop to think about
it, you've even created a relationship, chosen who you will be, relative to
vanilla ice cream. You either like it or you don't, you prefer vanilla ice cream
over chocolate or vice versa.
The ice cream example may seem a bit silly, but it is one of the ways you've
chosen to identify yourself. And I think once you see that, you'll realize that
changing your self concept is as simple as changing your mind about what belongs
in your life and what doesn't. It is that simple, but just not that easy.
If who you are, your self concept, can be defined as how you've chosen to
relate to people, things and life in general, then taking a long hard look at
everything in your life with the idea that you might want to choose a different
relationship to his/her or it might be a good exercise to practice on an ongoing
basis.
For homework this week, allow yourself to see that
you are very much attached to your self concept and that your attachment makes
you a slave to everything to which you are attached. And then allow yourself to
see that you'd set yourself free if you chose a different way to relate.
Take a look at everything in your
life that upsets you. Allow yourself to see that life is not about what's
happening; instead it's about how you deal with what's happening.
You've made a lot of things significant that would have no
significance if you could change your mind and choose to make them
insignificant.
Allow yourself to see that you are a
slave to everyone and everything in life that upsets you or punches your hot
button. No one has the power to get inside your head and upset you. Only you
can do that! Why not take back your power in that situation and become a free
soul in that way?

Chapter 6 - What's Stopping You?
"To God Or As God" - Pg. 65
And that's how realities are built, out of attitudes,
opinions and points of view. Think about it; those are pretty flimsy building
materials, wouldn't you say? You created your own individualized reality by
simply choosing what to believe. And it matters not what you believe, the
Universe will deliver content that must be a perfect match for that reality
context.
You've created your own reality by choosing what to
believe and your self concept is the prime mover in maintaining that reality
concept. That's your box, and you'll be stuck in it, until you're finally fed up
with those circumstances and ready to choose out. How about now?

Chapter 9 - The Nature of Man
from my book
"So, Why Aren't You Rich?" -
Pg. 222 & 223
This stored programming, your "Belief System", runs
your life and will continue to do so unless you rebel against it. You can take
control of your life if you will realize that you created your own B. S. (the
abbreviation for Belief System).
At times in your life, you've had problems that caused
you to react. Each time, you analyzed the situation, came to a conclusion, and
chose your reaction.
Unfortunately, you are now programmed
to react the same way every time the same thing
or something similar happens.
You now own that program, but you can disown it by
writing a new one, by choosing a different way to react, or by choosing not to
react at all.

Chapter 3 - In The Image And
Likeness of God
from my book
"Being The Solution" -
Pg. 36 & 37
The cosmic joke
Ignorance is a voluntary
misfortune.
Italian Proverb
The joke is that, as an individualization of
God, you have the power of the Universe behind your "I am" statement,
and you've used that power to render yourself powerless. If you could
somehow be a casual observer, step back, be objective and view your life
from the outside looking in, you would laugh at your predicament.
Laughing at yourself give you back your power.
At the core, you are God individualized. On the
surface you're playing a role and that role is a joke as long as you
continue to see yourself trapped in it. So, ask yourself which of the
following statements fit you.
-
You pray negative prayers and complain that
God didn't answer your prayers. "I am poor" is a prayer; you chose
your reality and now you're living it. God DID answer your
prayers...
-
You push others away and complain that
nobody loves you.
-
You frown at the world and wonder why
nobody's smiling.
-
You wait for your ship to come in when you
didn't send one out.
-
You search for happiness when being happy
is simply a matter of choice.
-
You defend your current reality, even
though it doesn't give you what you want from life.
