A victim story is any excuse you might
use to explain why you don't already have everything you've ever wanted from
life. So, see if you can be objective for a moment and allow yourself to review
all your reasons why not.
You'll be amazed at how many stories
you have once you begin paying attention.
Don't beat yourself up for having a
story. Everyone has victim stories. What's important here, is that you
finally come to see that your "poor me" story is nothing more than an incredible
illusion, maintained by an ego good at its job of survival.
Please get that your
ego is surviving as the victim!
As an individualization of God, you
have the power to make a new BEING choice that would create a brand new reality
in which your problem of lack no longer existed. The Law of Attraction is on
automatic, ready, willing and waiting to bring into your life everything
belonging in the reality of that new BEING commitment.
The truth is that you've been given the
power to answer your own prayers! How much sweeter
could life get than than?
So, what's stopping you from making your new BEING
commitment? I think you already know the answer; you are too attached to your
victim's role to give it up and be happy. Why are you attached?
That victim is who you are for now. It is your
identity. In order to choose out of your victim's role and into a powerful new
YOU, a part of you, your ego, would have to die and be reborn into that new
consciousness. Your ego, quite naturally, resists the dying. Can you blame it?
Please get that when you're feeling like a victim, you
are being your ego.
But you are not your ego!
The solution to the problem of being trapped in the
victim's role begins with the realization that you are not your ego.
Can you
allow yourself to see that? Once you've allowed yourself to be objective about
the problem, you've put your true self back in charge.
Once you've decided to put the spirit of aliveness back
in charge of your life, you'll be ready to choose out of your victim's role.

Chapter 12 - There's No Way Out
"To God Or As God" - Pg. 106 & 107
Your reality and mine are mere illusions maintained by
an ego good at its job. After all, poverty in any of its forms could not be your
reality if that illusion did not seem real to you.
The way out is to remember that you are an
individualization of God with awesome powers. Once there in consciousness, the
illusion of lack in any of its forms will be a joke.
You keep forgetting who you really are, so you can
truly experience your latest reality creation as real. You forget so you can be
reborn with a new awakening. And you won't be finding your way out of that box
until you remember, once again, that you really do have the power to create and
manifest any reality you can dream up.
If you are fed up with your current circumstances, just
remember who you are and choose again!

Chapter 2 - Our Resistance To
Change
from my book
"So, Why Aren't You Rich?" -
Pg. 35
Our subconscious mind, acting as our ego, serves us by
allowing us to experience our chosen reality. It maintains that reality by
screening out everything that doesn't fit what we currently believe. To prevent
our hearing anything that would upset our belief system, our ego, always
vigilant, stands ready with blinders to prevent our seeing the truth and ear
plugs to block our hearing it.
We are all blessed or cursed (as the case may be) with
our own built-in-resistance to change. The Good news is that your perception of
reality is safe and secure, protected by your good friend, the ego. The bad news
is:
you won't get the message in this book
unless you read it with an open mind.
You won't be here for what I have to say unless you can
successfully set aside your resistance to change.
In order to have what you want from life, if what you
want is different from what you already have, you will need to experience a
transformation. In simple language, this means that you must change your mind
about some of the things you now believe to be true.
