The Only Way Out Is Through
The bars for your cage are your fears
and self-imposed limitations. Within those bars, you feel safe because they seem
to protect you from whatever you fear, in essence, those bars are your fear of
life outside those limits.
Your freedom to BE is and will always
be outside the protective walls of your story.
And of course, the only way out
is through. So, allow yourself to see whatever fear you're facing as your ego's
avoidance of some form of pain. To find your way past that fear, ask yourself,
"what is the painful experience I am trying to avoid"?
And since the only way to be free of
that fear is to allow yourself to experience the avoided pain, remember the
rule: "Pain is part of the healing". And then allow yourself to see that the
only way out of fear is through the pain.
Of course that doesn't mean what you
feared must be allowed to happen. It means that you have to fully face that
possibility as though it had already happened so you can find your way through
and past the fear. To conquer your fear, you must allow yourself to imagine
briefly suffering the consequences of the worst case scenario.
To win out in any situation, big or
small, acquire the Winner's Attitude by visiting the pain your fear was
avoiding. Allow yourself to feel as you would if it had already happened; then,
make that outcome acceptable and you'll be past your fear. Then you can play at
your game, full out, but now with a Winner's Attitude.
Khalil Gibran wrote,
"Your pain hollows out the cup so it can be filled with joy".
Notice that by avoiding pain, you also
cancel the joy.

Chapter 1 - The Quantum Leap
"To God Or As God" - Pg. 6
And You didn't know how
Think about it! Before that first ride, did you know
how to ride a bicycle? No. And you probably wondered, before you tried, how
anyone can learn to ride a bike if no one can tell you how. But, did not knowing
how stop you? No! You just got on the bicycle and started pedaling like crazy,
hoping you wouldn't fall.
Did you fall a few times? Probably yes, Did falling
stop you from getting up and trying again? No, of course not! You might want to
let yourself see that riding a bike for the first time was a quantum leap of
faith.
You might want to use that example out of your
past to remind yourself that you can do it again. You are truly capable of
taking the quantum leap out of your worst problem into a reality in which that
problem is solved. You'll do that without knowing how the problem will be
solved.

Chapter 3 - The The Success Secret
from my book
"So, Why Aren't You Rich?" -
Pg. 75
Get Your Genie Out of the Bottle
Your Genie has the power to transform you into the one
you need to be to have what you want from life. But there's a catch. You must
first find the bottle and then pull the cork. Before your wishes can be granted,
you must let your powerful Genie out of the bottle.
Your Genie's bottle is not made of glass. Instead, it
is built out of a perception of reality that gives great power to the
circumstances in your life.
The cork in your Genie's bottle is your belief that
your reality is locked in stone and unchangeable.
At risk in this cork pulling is your concept of
reality. Only you can pull that cork.

Chapter 8 - Choosing To Be Rich
from my book
"Being The Solution" -
Pg. 94
You've Already Chosen
So, do yourself a big favor; take a long hard
look at what you have in life, and accept the fact that what you have
sends a message, loud and clear, about who you are being. Who you are,
really, is an individualization of God; who you are being is a whole
other story. Knowing who you are gives you the power to change who you
are BEING!
So, take the next logical step toward changing
your circumstances. Take full responsibility for what you've created.
For instance: if you're unhappy about some happening in your life,
accept the fact that you chose unhappiness as your way of responding.
When you 'get' that you chose to be unhappy, you have just replaced your
victim role with a more powerful position of being responsible for your
own feelings. With this exercise, you've rediscovered your power to
choose to be happy!
You have chosen who you would BE, and what you
have now is the result of that choice. Who you are (your self-concept)
was no accident, and you are not the victim you perceive yourself to be.
Your parents didn't make you who you are. You did that by acting or
reacting, by choosing who you would be under life's circumstances...
