Want Out Of Your Box?
Change Your
Attitude!
I define your box in a different way,
each week. Everyone lives in a box of their own making. Some people know this
already but many haven't realized it yet.
Today's newsletter gives you another way out of your box.
Your Box is Merely The Point of View
You Call Reality
There are two basic principles that
govern what you can have in life:
-
We become what we think about.
-
What we have in life is a direct
result of whom we've chosen to be.
So, if
what you have in life is determined by who you are, it would seem logical to
assume that you could change what you have by changing who you are.
But that sounds like such a big deal, most people won't even consider it. I'd
like to show you that changing who you are, is no more life threatening than
changing your mind about what color car you would rather drive.
When you choose who you will be, you
merely choose a point of view, an attitude about life; you are deciding how you
will act or react to life under your circumstances. And having chosen your
attitude about it, you have established a pattern to your thinking.
If for example, you came from a poor
family and bought into your parents' victim story about why they were poor, you
would probably assume you could never be rich. Those "I'll never be rich"
thought patterns become habitual, and are who you are. Because that's your
attitude, your ego will use that thought pattern to maintain status quo. You
will be stuck with your current reality, until you decide to change your mind
about who you are or will be.
If you have been living your life
obsessed with the idea that you will always be poor, your ego will maintain your
reality of poverty by rejecting any and all opportunities to be rich. That's
because rich is outside the box you've chosen to call reality.
The
problem with wanting out of your box is that your circumstances will seem so
real to you, there will appear to be no way out.
So, how do you change your reality under those circumstances?
The first step out of your box would
be to realize that your reality is made out of nothing more substantial than
attitudes, opinions and points of view. Your
reality is an illusion maintained so successfully by your ego that the illusion
appears to be real. Once you realize that your
reality is nothing more than a point of view, you will have found the power to
change your mind. To change who you are, you
need only change the pattern of your thinking. You'd need to make up your
mind to no longer be poor and begin to think about what your life would be like
if you were no longer poor. Your visualization of that better life is the means
by which you can reprogram your thinking.
By this visualization process you are
reprogramming your subjective consciousness to think and feel the way you would
if you already had the reality of your dreams. As this vision takes over your
thought patterns, your barrier will merely dissolve and disappear.

Chapter 7 - Trapped In Your Act
"To God Or As God" - Pg. 79 & 80
If you could just accept that what you're
manifesting (poverty or riches) is merely the effect of your chosen
reality concept, then you would see how you could easily change your
manifested results to something far better by just changing your mind
about what you will believe.
Your reality concept is just a story that you
made up along the way. And your act is the protective shell you've built
around yourself to survive in that reality.
-
What do you suppose would happen if you simply
changed your mind about what's real?
-
What do you suppose would change in your life if
you finally accepted that your condition of lack, in any of its forms, is
merely the effect of a story you made up as you went along?
-
How powerful would you feel if you gave yourself
permission to create a brand-new, happy, prosperous reality in which to
experience life?

Chapter 1 - The Magic of Being
Transformed
from my book
"So, Why Aren't You Rich?" -
Pg. 24
A Reflection of Who We Are
When we discharge our fears and change our minds about
who to be, our whole world changes with us. Spouses, friends, customers,
employees, bosses, and everyone else in our lives change to correspond to our
new identity. The people and the circumstances in our lives are a refection of
who we are.

Chapter 1 - Poverty Is A State
of Being
from my book
"Being The Solution" -
Pg. 6
One cannot alter a condition
with the same mind set that created it in
the first place.
--Albert Einstein
The truth about having what you've always
wanted is that you won't have it as long as you insist on being who you
are now. You're being deprived of that want by another spiritual law,
the Law of Correspondence, which says that you can only have from life
that which belongs to you by right of consciousness.
But if you can change who you're BEING, this
same law will provide you with everything that belongs with your new
BEING choice. So, if you're ready to consider a change in who you are
BEING so you can have the life you want, I'm ready to show you the way.
Are you ready for a quality of life change?
