Conquering Your Fear of Success
Did you know, that fear of success
and fear of failure are much the same?
That's because your real fear, in either case, will be your basic built-in
fear of change.
Your ego fears any change in your way
of BEING, because your self-concept is your ego's current reality concept. In
order for you to become more successful, your ego knows that it must die and be
reborn into a new way of BEING. It just naturally fears that change.
While coming up with excuses for why
you are not as successful as you want to be, your ego will make up all sorts of
stories about it.
You'd be telling yourself that having
more money would be a burden. You'd complain that you're already busy doing what
you do each day and, therefore, have no extra time in which to do what might be
necessary in becoming more successful. And besides that, you would complain
that you are already working as hard as you want and wouldn't have the energy to
do anything more.
Of course, these are all just some of
the lame excuses your ego would use in justifying your not being as successful
as you want. When you stop to think about it, the idea that having money would
be a burden is so ridiculous, it's almost laughable.
And not having time to be successful is
just as lame an excuse because whatever you're using that time for now isn't
producing the results you really want.
To worry about not having the energy
you'd need to be successful is also absurd because the true definition of
success would be to have everything you'd need to have your life be whole and
complete. Wouldn't that include your having more than enough time freedom to
enjoy your extra income? Hadn't thought of that one, had you?
So,
you'll need to replace your fear of success with a vision of what your life
would look like if you were as successful as you could ever want to be.
In that picture of success, you'd be
happily enjoying your work; you'd have an abundance of income and you'd have
oodles of leisure time in which to enjoy your success.
Just keep your focus on your picture of
what life would be like if you were that successful and your fears will
gradually dissolve and disappear like a puff of smoke in a wind storm.

Chapter 1 - The Magic of Being
Transformed
from my book
"So, Why Aren't You Rich?" -
Pg. 22
The beauty of a transformation:
It is not about something you must DO to
succeed,
hoping that it will work.
A transformation changes what you do, but is
not about what you do. Success as a result of being transformed is not
just a possibility; it is a sure thing.
The most amazing thing about changing your
attitude from fear to faith, is that what seems to be a very real
problem will turn out to be a false fear which will dissolve and
disappear as soon as you change your mind.

Chapter 1 - Poverty Is A State
of Being
from my book
"Being The Solution" -
Pg. 8
Is there anything you lack that you feel would
make your life whole and complete if you had it, then you are poor, not
as poverty's victim, but because you reject riches in that form, just as
I once rejected love. If you are not rich in ALL aspects of your life,
if you feel that you lack love, self-confidence, money, or anything
else, it's because being rich in that aspect of your life does not fit
your concept of reality.
Poverty or abundance in any form is a state of
mind (a state of BEING), not the state of your love life, your
relationships or your finances. With the message I'm bring you in this
book I intend to take away your victim story and change your mind about
the reason for your poverty. In fact, you probably have a dozen reasons
you could give me, right now, for why you are poor in some way. None of
your reasons are any more valid than my silly excuse for lacking love!

Chapter 6 - What's Stopping You?
"To God Or As God" - Pg. 64
Your ego will be deathly afraid of any reality
concept change, so you can expect it to resist the change you want with
all it's considerable might. Most people, who want life to get better,
never make it past that initial ego resistance; so they stay trapped in
the status quo for their whole lives.
If you really want out of that box to stay,
you'll want to be powerfully motivated.
To find your way out to stay,
-
You'll need a strong reason for wanting out
of (escaping) the status quo.
-
You must be clear about what you want
instead, the new reality vision must be clear, exciting, and
inspiring.
-
You must truly believe the change you want
is achievable.
-
And you must want a change so bad you can
taste it.
-
And then, be committed to choosing it in
spite of ego.
