Are Work and Money
Related?
What we believe creates our
reality and the Universe is set up so that we'll automatically manifest
whatever belongs with that reality concept.
Your
reality concept is your story about the way life works or doesn’t.
So, where did the idea come
from that work and money have a cause and result relationship? Most of
us grew up in an environment where the standard earning practice was to
trade hours for dollars.
You were told that after you
graduated, that the way to go was to get a job with a big company and
you'd be set for life. You would have been encouraged to get good grades
so you'd get the highest paying jobs.
What you were not told, is that
J O B
really stand for is, Just Over Broke.
If you have a job in sales,
you've probably seen that the more prospecting you do the more sales
you'll make. Many jobs offer overtime, which is good way to
increase your paycheck. In other words, you've proven what you already
believe, that working hard and $$ earned are definitely related.
But money and work are NOT
related. I understand that the idea is
hard to get, because it is contrary to what almost everybody in the
world already believes - your reality
concept. And remember, your reality
concept must always manifest the corresponding results.
Work harder and longer hours
and you'll make more money. The flaw in that idea is that the benefit of
more income is cancelled out when you give up your free time in order to
make more money. More money in this case, doesn't compute, because you'd
then have no free time in which to enjoy that extra income.
So, for as long as you're stuck
in the reality of "more work - more money" you can't have more money,
because you will run out of time and energy.
I hope you can see that the
idea that work and money are related leads you to the same dead end as
"trading hours for $$". If you have any desire to be wealthy, you'll
have to trade in that idea in favor of one that is proven to work
better.
So, consider this: What if
the true path to being wealthy, were no more complicated or difficult
than a BEING choice?
What do you suppose would
happen if you stepped out of that "work hard box" and just chose to "BE
WEALTHY" right now?
All of a sudden, by some
strange miracle, deals and opportunities would begin to show up in your
life and you'd simply be saying "yes" "yes" and "yes". Would you be
working hard to to make those deals and opportunities show up? I don't
thing so!
Can those deals and
opportunities show up if your reality is that money and hard work go
together like a horse and carriage? You know the answer to that one.
So, when will you choose out
of that "work hard box" and just choose to be wealthy?

Chapter 2 - Our Resistance To change
from my book
"So, Why Aren't You Rich?" -
Pg. 45 & 46
You've Already Chosen
Transformation is what happens when you change
your mind about who you will be. It can happen, as it did with me in a
moment of revelation, or it can take much longer. If your ego resists
the change, a transformation can sometime take weeks or even months to
reach completion. Or it may not happen at all if you fail to overcome
the resistance.
In a transformation you choose a new identity,
a new reality for yourself, a choice you can make only after you
acknowledge your previous choice.
Unless you accept the fact that you've chosen
what you have, you will be powerless to make a new choice.

Chapter 2 - Nine Steps To Personal
Freedom
from my book
"Being The Solution" -
Pg. 29 & 30
W.H. Murray, in his book The Scottish
Himalayan Expedition, had this to say about commitment.
He wrote:
Until one is committed there is hesitancy, the
chance to draw back. always ineffectiveness. Concerning all acts of
initiative (and creation), there is one element of truth, the ignorance
of which kills countless ideas, and splendid plans; that the moment one
definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves, too. All sorts of
things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A
whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one's favor
all manner of unforeseen incidents, meetings and material assistance,
which no man would have dreamt would have come his way. I have learned
deep respect for one of Goethe's couplets:
Whatever you can do or dream you can do, begin
it.
Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it.
