Each Relationship
Is A Mirror
Our true purpose in life is
self-discovery. So, in our quest for knowing the true self, what is it
that we're really looking for? ...more than most of us suspect,
actually.
You and I are
individualizations of a God who experiences life in and through us as
us. Our true purpose, therefore, is to become more and more consciously
aware of this truth and then to learn how to tap into and use that inner
power constructively.
We activate the self-discovery
process every time we amp up our courage and choose out of the old box
with a new BEING choice. You see, this power of God shows up in us as
the power to choose who we will BE. By making a new BEING commitment, we
create a brand new reality, and with it, comes a whole new level of
consciousness.
Once we've activated the
BEING Principle with
a BEING choice, (we become what we think
about) we trigger another of God's
spiritual laws into motion, The Law of
Attraction. This law makes sure that
everything and everyone in our lives is a perfect match for who we are
being.
Notice that this law was in
effect for your last BEING choice. So, take a long hard look at who
showed up in your life and realize that each of them belongs with you as
a result of who you are BEING.
The true value in our
relationships is to give you and I the opportunity to experience BEING
who we are. Each relationship serves us, by mirroring back at us, some
aspect of our way of being.
So, if you don't like what you
see in that other person, go ahead and point a finger at him or her, and
then notice when you do, that the other three fingers point back at you.
If you don't like who and what you've attracted into your life, do some
soul searching and make a new BEING choice.

Chapter 9 - The Nature of Man
from my book
"So, Why Aren't You Rich?" -
Pg. 235
Our
Perception of Reality
Consciousness is being aware of something
within yourself.
That something is our indwelling Spirit. But
most of us ignore the existence of our spiritual nature, seeing
ourselves as physical beings living in a material world. Our reality is
based on what we perceive to be real; on what we can see, hear, feel or
touch. Spirit doesn't fit into that materialistic version of reality.
So, even though we accept the idea of Spirit in man intellectually, we
often fail to acknowledge or knowingly experience Spirit's presence.
Although we may not have called it Spirit, with
each metamorphosis, our moment of insight revealed something within
ourselves that gives us more power than we had before. We become aware
of this power as soon as we realize that we can choose out of our
current reality.

Chapter 15 - Solving Relationship
Problems
from my book
"Being The Solution" -
Pg. 196
...you have the power to change who you will be
and how you will relate to any problem. Once you've accomplished that
change in consciousness, you'll feel the sense of power that always
comes from taking charge of your life once more. You will feel in your
heart the sense of elation that always comes from knowing who you are.
In that moment of being reborn into a newly empowered sense of being,
you will step closer to know and understanding the real source of your
personal power.
As we move through life, we grow in
consciousness, changing our minds from time to time about who we will be
and how we will relate to life. Each change made in our relationship to
life moves us a little further down the path of self-discovery. A
relationship serves this growth process when it allows you to experience
being yourself in it.
