The Positive
Evidence Journal
One of your sly ego's favorite
trick for getting you back into the old box is to keep telling you that
nothing has changed.
One of the very best tools for
dealing with this ego tactic, is to keep a positive evidence journal for
recording all your successes, no matter how big or small. Use your
journal to make note of everything for which you have a reason to be
grateful. Make it your intention to acquire the habit of writing
something in your journal everyday. A good time for this is just before
you go to bed, it's a wonderful way to end your day.
Each time you open your
journal, before adding any new items, read everything you wrote
previously. Your growing list of successes will remind you of something
else you have to be grateful for; write it down. You'll be feeling more
powerful each time you read the pages in your evidence journal.
Make your evidence journal a
daily habit. You'll find it one of the most powerful tools you have
for putting yourself back in charge of your life.
It is a rule of life, that when
you know who you are, you'll know what you want, and you'll just
naturally choose the best path for getting you there.
-
Make it your intention
to always know what you want.
-
Believe beyond the
shadow of a doubt that you can have it.
-
Whet your appetite to
the point of having a burning desire for it.
-
Choose to BE the one who
has it.
Generally, we don't allow
ourselves to want something we don't really believe we can have. So the
more you believe you can have something, the more powerful will be your
desire to have it. It is that burning desire that brings you to the
point of choice.
-
Your evidence journal
will amplify the power of your belief in yourself.
-
It will grow your
confidence.
-
It will speed up the
process in your choosing.
-
And the more you choose,
the more you know who you are.

Your Hidden Power
On the screen that portrays your life, you
project a powerless image. I predict that you will maintain that false
image of yourself until you no longer need to pretend powerlessness. You
will find the hidden power behind this false image as soon as you
realize that you are not the image on the screen; you are the projector
of the image.

Becoming clear about what you want
If you don't know what you want from life, it's
because you don't know who you are. Therefore, becoming clear about what
you want and don't want from life could very well be the most important
thing you could do for yourself in terms of finding your true self.
