You Cannot Win -
What
You Think You
Can't Afford To Lose
It is a rule of life that you can never
win what you think you can't afford to loose.
The key word in the rule I just gave you
is, "think".
If you think you can't afford to lose
the bet you just made, you will lose it.
Let me repeat the rule --
You cannot win what you
think you can't afford to lose.
Why is that so? If you're thinking you can't
afford to loose it, you'll be afraid of loosing it and you'll be motivated by
fear. Can fear win the day for you? Never! So, what does it take to win?
It takes courage and a winning attitude to
win. Can you win if you are afraid you'll lose? No, because if you're afraid,
you won't have the winning attitude, and you can't win.
Let's Talk About Fear
I suggest that you don't label your fears
either good or bad. Fear is a very important element in your ability to survive
as a human being. Fear is your ego mind's early warning signal; it is your
built-in survival system at work, warning you of some perceived danger.
That's The Good News
But your ego mind will see every proposed
change of attitude or circumstances as a threat to its survival. So, some
dangers will be very real, but most of what you fear will be a product of your
ego's over active imagination. The danger will seem real, even though it is not.
Unfortunately,
what you believe, is destined
to become your reality experience. So, if you are to win the game in the Game of
Life, you must conquer your fear.
Your first step out of fear would be to
notice that it is only your ego, not the "Real You" afraid of what might happen
as a result of your choosing out of your box. To conquer your fear you'll want
to begin by:
-
Making it totally okay that your ego is
afraid.
-
Then talk to your friend ego and thank it
for warning you about a possible danger.
Once the "Real You" has acknowledged the
presence of fear, analyze the perceived threat and do one of two things:
3. Decide how you
will deal with any real danger,
4. or dismiss any
false danger signals.
Most of ego's fears are based on some unreal,
imagined danger. As the saying goes,
"FEAR"
is merely False
Evidence
Appearing
Real.
So, ask yourself, "Is this threat for real or is it imagined?"
If the perceived danger is real, a possible
outcome for your current situation,
5. Picture the worst
possible conclusion and all its possible repercussions
6. Then allow
yourself to imagine that the worst has already happened.
See if you can allow yourself to experience
exactly how you would feel if that happened. Compare this fear to a fear of
diving off the high board. You face your fear and jump into the pool; you're in
the deep water and you've just touched the bottom. Now what do you do?
I would like for you to see that once you've
touched bottom, in any situation, you've reached a place where there's no where to
go but up. And once you've realized that up is your only choice, you'll make an
inspired decision.
7. And now that you've faced your fear, you'll choose to take an inspired
action. The worst hasn't really happened, so you still have time to save the day
with inspired action.
In the deep water, you'll bend your knees and
push off the bottom with renewed energy and enthusiasm. Notice that when you
look up, you see the light and the fear is gone!
In solving any problem, your worst enemy, the
powerful paralyzer, will be your fear. So, to take charge of your fears,
1. Allow yourself to
experience your fears full out,
2. Make the fear
okay
3. Accept the
possibility of failure
4. Then take your
attitude out of the mud and into the stars
5. Recreate that
winning attitude
How do you create the winning attitude?
1. Recreate your
vision
2. Remake your
out-of-the-box BEING choice again
3. Get excited about
it, recapture that knowing, can't loose feeling

Why Is Attitude So
Important
Two powerful emotions, Love and/or Fear,
activate the Attraction Principle to manifest the appropriate results.
If you focus mostly on your problems, you are in the survival mode and
your attitude will be fear, doubt and worry. You'd fear the possibility
of not having what you want. The survivors fear, doubt and worry moves
you into a Loser's Attitude with which you'll only attract more of those
troubling circumstances into your life.
But when your focus is mostly on the solution
for your problem and what your life will be like when the problem is
already solved, you'll be living in love, joy and enthusiasm. Your love
cancels out the fear and gives you the Winner's Attitude.
