Every act of creation begins with the end result in mind.
Every act of
creation must begin in the mind. You can't even build a birdhouse without some
idea of what it will look like before you start. For about 12 years of my life,
I was a carpenter. As a cabinet-maker, I never built a cabinet without first
having a picture of it in my mind before I started cutting parts for it.
In any sort of construction, you start with a scaled drawing from which you
make a cutting list of all the parts needed in the finished product. Then you
cut and assemble those parts. There would be no way to create a cutting list for
parts unless you had measurements for the finished product in mind before
starting.
The same is true with any other act
of creation. You must start with the end result
in mind. If you are
choosing to be richer or healthier or to have more meaningful relationships, you
will need to create the picture in your mind of what that would look like for
you.
What would a new house or a new car look like? How would you feel if you ate
healthier meals and exercised more? And what would more supportive, loving
relationships look like? Remember, the picture
starts in your mind.
If you have trouble visualizing any of these things,
then create a collage made up
of pictures cut from magazines. Paste those cut-outs on a big poster board. Hang
it on the wall and look at it every day. Get that picture firmly in mind. Think
about it. Dream about it. Put yourself into the picture. Use your imagination to
feel it, smell it, taste it. Live it!
That's how you create the picture. Then, when the picture is clear in
your mind,
make that your intention. You will know your vision is more than a pipe dream
when you begin to move on it. You will have begun searching for opportunities to
make your dream a reality. You will begin looking for your dream home or car.
You will begin to eat fewer sweets and/or eat more salads. New relationships
will come to you as you hold your dream. You will attract the people who belong
with the picture you create. All dreams start in the mind and become a reality
when we do something to make it real.
Now, let's look at a common misconception about the creative process. All that
stuff you want only looks like the end result, it's not! It only seems that way
because that stuff is what's in the picture you've painted.
The end result is a
new you!
The truth is, you don't really create all that stuff. What you've created in
that creative process is a new you, a you who can and will have all that stuff
in their life.
What is so important for you to realize, is that who you were prior to the
decision to become richer, healthier or in more meaningful relationships, was
someone else. Someone who did not deserve and could not have the richer,
healthier or better relationship life . A richer, healthier, better relationship
life would not have belonged to you by right of consciousness.
What I'm saying here, is that when we
create a new life for ourselves, all we can see is the stuff. It never was about
the stuff. It was about you having the courage to choose to be more than you
were. Our mission in life is not about having.
It's about being and becoming.
To have what you want in life, you will need a transformation in
consciousness. Are you ready for the transformation that will change the quality
of your life forever?
If so, take the first step. Chose to be richer, healthier
and/or to create more
relationships that are meaningful. Then begin to paint the picture of what that would look like for
you. To have what you want, you will need a burning desire strong enough to
overcome your ego's desire to maintain status quo.
As you go for your goal, always remember that your ego does not want who you
are now, to be transformed.

Chapter 6, What's Stopping You,
from my book
"To God Or As God" - Pg 57.
As soon as you've committed
to a new way of BEING you, The Universe will be making delivery; it is
truly primed, ready and waiting for your new BEING choice. So when will
you find the courage to go for it and choose the good life for yourself?
What are you waiting for?
Pg 59
Once you've changed your mind about anything,
you've taken on a new point of view, and as a result, you can expect a
corresponding set of circumstances to soon follow. But, the reverse is
also true. For as long as you maintain a self-limiting perspective on
life, you'll remain stuck in that box, with those circumstances.

Chapter 1 - The Magic of Being
Transformed
from my book
"So, Why Aren't You Rich?" -
Pg. 27
Growth in Consciousness
In truth, we are in the process of being
transformed every moment of our life, to be more than we have been.
Transformation is the process by which we get
to experience that growth in consciousness.
Yesterday, we thought about who we would like
to be and were being transformed by that thought even as we slept. When
we look in the mirror, even though we look the same, we are today no
longer who we were yesterday. But we are unable to see our growing in
consciousness any more than we can see our hair growing.

Chapter 7 - Creating A Burning Desire
from my book
"Being The Solution" -
Pg. 81
Every thought you think has the power to free
you or put you back in the box. If you want out of your box, you must
first imagine what life could be like outside the box. It's time to
dream, and as long as you're dreaming, dream big! This powerful vision
will create the burning desire that will be the prime motivation for
your new BEING choice.
Chapter 8 - Choosing To Be Rich
from my book
"Being The Solution" -
Pg. 100
Adding Power To Your Thoughts
Some thoughts are more powerful than are other.
The powerful thoughts you think are the ones to which you have attached
strong feelings. A slight uneasy feeling is one type of worry; being
afraid is a much more powerful thought because it has the emotion of
fear giving it power.
On the positive side of the emotional scale,
setting a goal without a great deal of enthusiastic anticipation is one
thing; getting truly excited about that goal multiplies your chances of
reaching it exponentially.
So, we might want to change that governing
principle, we become what we think about, to: We
become what we think about with
passion.
