The apostle Paul said this over 2000
years ago, and it's even more true now than it was then, because there are so
many more things about which you could change your mind.
Did you know that transformation is
nothing more complicated than a simple change in the pattern of your thinking?
So, anytime you've ever changed your
mind about anything, you have been transformed
"by the renewing of your mind". It's as simple
as that, and you have been changing your mind, being transformed all your
life.
One of your earlier transformational
experiences happened the day you learned how to ride a bike. How impossible it
seemed that you could learn to balance it, move it forward by pedaling with your
feet and steer it, all three a the same time. Then, whoever taught you to ride a
bike, pushed you to get you moving; the forward momentum took care of the
balance and all you had to do was pedal and steer.
Then it was "Wow, look at me, I'm
riding this bike!" and then, "Look Mom, no hands!"
Do you remember that learning experience? Well,
think about it and know that "being transformed" is always a "WOW"
experience,
something wonderful to anticipate every time you find the courage to choose out
of your box and to experience BEING more than you were.
The "WOW"
comes from having the satisfaction of accomplishment, a new sense of
self-awareness and the accompanying growth in consciousness. Each
"ah ha" in your life, was
the discovery of some new power, ability or skill you didn't know you had until
that moment of revelation.
It is important to understand that each
of your out-of-the-box ventures has moved you forward in the accomplishment of
your true mission in life, that of self-discovery. What's to discover? That you
are an individualization of a God who experience life in and through you as you.
But transformation is a fearfully,
painful experience for you ego. So, why would anyone ever seek transformation?
Because being transformed is the only way you'll have whatever you think you
might need for your life that the having of it would make your life whole and
complete. And it is in allowing yourself to have what you always wanted, that
you get to discover the greater dimension of your BEING.
And being transformed is a grand an
glorious experience for your ego. So, why ever would one seek transformation?
Because being transformed is the only way you'll have whatever you think you
might need for your life, that the having of it would make your life
complete. And it is in allowing yourself to have what you always wanted, that
you get to discover the greater dimension of your BEING.
And being transformed is a grand and
glorious experience, something like the caterpillar might experience on
awakening to find that it now has wings and can fly.
Do you want more money in your life?
That benefit won't show up in your life until you give up BEING the caterpillar
who doesn't have wings.
Your having a larger income will
require a change in the pattern of your thinking relative to money, and that my
friend, is a transformation in consciousness.
So, you see, it is your desire for more
money that makes BEING transformed an attractive alternative to the condition of
insufficient income.
To effect a serious change to your
financial circumstances, you must:
-
first choose a different way of
BEING relative to money,
-
make that your new BEING
commitment,
-
and then be prepared to deal with
your ego's resistance to that change for as long as it takes or until ego
accepts your new relationship to money.
So, how hard could that be? Making your
commitment to a new way of BEING relative to money would not be all that
difficult.
But the keeping of that commitment,
until your ego stops resisting and finally accepts the new YOU as the status
quo, that's difficult. So difficult in fact, that about 85% of those who
attempt a transformation of their own, fizzle out long before completion.
It's a rule of life that: the greater
your consciousness, the more you'll manifest, and the more prosperous you are,
the more prosperous you'll fee.
That prosperous feeling is called a
prosperity consciousness, a powerful magnetic force for attracting more of the
same.
If you're lacking prosperity in any
area of your life, it's because you have a lack consciousness relative to that
aspect. To solve your problem of lack, you might consider growing your
consciousness as a solution. So, how do you develop a prosperity consciousness?
No matter what the commodity, whether
you're talking about love, good health, an abundance of good friends or lots of
money, a prosperity consciousness is that good feeling you'd have when you were
feeling good about yourself relative to that issue, grateful for having more
than enough.
A spiritual law governs what you may or
may not have from life; I call it The Have/Have Not Law of Consciousness.
In the bible, that spiritual law reads:
To him that hath, it shall be given and he shall have more abundance. But to him
that hath not, it shall be taken away, even that he hath.
But, here is my own interpretation of
that law:
If you need it, you can't have it.
If you don't need it, you can have all
your want.
When you see yourself as needing love,
good health, friends or more money in order for your life to be whole and
complete, you have a lack consciousness relative to that issue. To solve your
problem of lack, change your consciousness.
How do you do that? First make up your
mind that you've had enough, that you're no longer willing to put up with that
condition of lack in your life. Decide, right now, that
NOW IS THE TIME to choose
out of that box, and for growing your consciousness.
