Earl Nightingale became famous as a radio superstar as a result of his telling the world about Life's Strangest Secret. Many millionaires owe their beginning success to having first heard about "the secret" on Nightingale's radio program.

Years ago, before Earl Nightingale became famous as a syndicated radio celebrity, he was a little known radio announcer, earning most of his income, selling radio advertising. One of his prospects for the sale of radio advertising, a bookstore owner, had turned him down several times, but Earl was back for one more try.

While waiting his turn to talk to the bookstore owner, Nightingale picked up a book at random from the counter. The book he selected to browse through was the not yet well known, Think and Grow Rich, by Napoleon Hill.

What Nightingale read in those brief moments, so intrigued him, that he knew he must own the book! That night, he continued to read and didn't put it down until he had finished it in the wee hours of the morning.

But he was up bright and early the next morning, bubbling over with enthusiasm. Nightingale was there waiting when the bookstore owner arrived to open up for the day.

Holding, Think and Grow Rich, out in front of him, Nightingale said, "This is a great book!  And I have an advertising offer for you that I don't think you can refuse."

He said,

"Here's the deal. I will promote this book for you on my radio talk show for free. But for each one you sell as a result of my promotion, you pay the station a small commission. If I don't sell any books for you, the promotion won't cost you one thin dime!"

The storeowner, of course accepted his offer, and from that moment on, Earl Nightingale's radio talk show became a success-oriented program, promoting the success secrets in Think and Grow Rich. Earl became rich and famous as a talk-show host, while in the process of making Hill's book a best seller. Nightingale called the success principle he taught  "The Strangest Secret."

One of the strangest things about being human is that we are deathly afraid of discovering just how powerful we really are. Because of this fear, we are deaf, dumb, and blind when it comes to our accepting this life-changing secret into our reality.

This is because we know, at some level of consciousness, that this secret will take us into the realm of our undiscovered power and we are deathly afraid to go there! We know that that truth, once uncovered, would forever destroy the illusion that we are powerless victims of circumstances over which we have no control.

Finding out that we are powerful, would blow our current concept of reality to smithereens and life would never be the same.

This secret is strange, because you won't hear it until you're really ready for a giant leap in consciousness that would take you way outside your box (way beyond your current reality concept). But that's where you must go if you want your problems solved.

You won't go where this secret will take you, unless you are now, ready and eager to find your real power and learn how to use it in transforming the quality of your life.

What makes this secret strange is that it isn't and never has been a secret. It's a secret that's been in plain sight for thousands of years. The problem is, that this secret is so profound, that we can't allow ourselves to see it or hear it.

Before I reveal this secret to you, let me give you an example of how it can change your life. When I found it in Hill's book, I was desperately seeking a solution for my failing business. I was half way through Hill's book before the profound nature of this truth finally hit home. In that moment of revelation, I experienced an immediate transformation.

When I walked into my business the following Monday morning, bubbling over with a newly found enthusiasm for life, my employees took one look at me and asked, "What the hell happened to you over the weekend, and where can I get some of that?"
