My MLM Business is only moderately successful

The Problem:

Hi Darel,

I worked in the mining industry for 29 years, the last 26 of which were spent at the senior management and executive level. Because of the extreme stress and aggravation with these positions I decided four years ago to leave and start a business in the wellness industry with Usana Health Sciences. It seems that much of what I learnt about business in that industry have had to be unlearnt in order to do this MLM business and I've only been moderately successful.

I'm still a firm believer, especially in my company and I know that ultimately I will reach all my goals. My problem is that I'm living on savings and after four years, of course the balance has become much smaller. I've tried your Power Pause but I can't say that it has worked for me. I've done lots of personal development and I'm now in a much better place spiritually. Once my finances improve my life will be much more balanced. This I know.

In my mining life I had lots of money, little spiritually. Now I have the reverse, but still not a balanced life. I'm now reading Being the Solution again with the hope of finding something that perhaps I missed before.

I would appreciate any advice you might have that could move me forward toward achieving my financial objectives.

Please keep up the great work that you're doing. You do make a difference.

 Best regards,

K C

My answer:

Thanks for the question, K C, I know personally, five people in the Usana Health Science business who make over one million dollars a year. I've listened to some of them talk at Usana conventions. Every one of them gives an inspiring talk and attendees who heard them talk, go home all pumped up, assuming that all they have to do now is what that millionare network marketer said he did to close 75% of his prospects.

But when they get home, it doesn't happen that way. Can you guess why? Those millionaire Usana Distributors each succeed, not so much because of what they do, but because of who they're being. When they do a presentation, their prospect picks up on the enthusiasm and feels that anyone could do this thing. The problem is that no one told the new distributor that he/she would have to change who they were being in order to do what the successful one do.

I think the question you need to ask yourself, K C, is "Who would you BE Being if you so enthusiastic about all the wonderful benefits of being a Usana distributor, that you signed up 75% of your prospects." Then, if you took it upon yourself to coach your new downline through the necessary BEING change, you would be the most successful man on the stage at the Usana convention.

You change who you're being, first by creating the vision and then by making that BEING Choice. The greatest benifit in a powerful being shift like that is not in the great income you'd have, but in who you would have become in the process.

Unfortunately, Being Shifts are much more difficult than most people who attempt it imagine. To make it past your ego resistance, you'll need a powerful Power Pact, and you must acquire the Power Pause habit. You'll need the help of others who are on the same transformation path. You'll find that in my workshop.

My new Online Being Workshop is, by far, the most successful thing I've ever done in terms of participants being transformed. You might want to consider checking that out as the means by which you could transform yourself into a Diamond distributor.

I've coached a few Usana Distributor as you may have guessed. Each of them had greater success as the result of his or her BEING shift.

I hope that answers your question, K C
