Does your book have any benefit to someone like me?
A MONEY PROBLEM
Hi.
I've been studying prosperity for several months. I've read several books.
Most of them should be called How to Succeed in Business books. The reason is that almost all of them assume that the way to acquiring wealth is through business of some kind and are written with a marketplace mentality. Sales people, marketing professionals, or entrepreneurs write most of those books.
I'm a school custodian. I have an 8-hour day. I want it to stay that way. I'm not in any business nor do I want to be. What's in it for me? Does your book have any benefit to someone like me?
Almost all of these books say that the universe is unlimited and that there's enough abundance for all. We can't all be in business. Someone has to take the garbage out. Wash the dishes. How does the manual laborer fit into the picture? Isn't abundance possible for these people as well?
I'd like to hear your thoughts.
Thanks for your time.

A BEING SOLUTION
Thanks for your interesting question, JH
I'm sure a great many people who do what you do for a living are asking themselves the same question.
But in most cases those with your problem ask the wrong question, and therefore, tend to look in the wrong place for answers.
Looking in self-help books for what you must do in order to be prosperous is the wrong place to look, because even after you learned what successful people do, you probably wouldn't be doing that. What they suggest that you do wouldn't fit in at all with who you are being.
So, "What should I be doing to become prosperous?" is actually the wrong question. You see, JH, contrary to popular opinion, rich is not about what you have; it's about who you are. If you are not now rich, it's only because you haven't chosen to BE rich.
Your lack of abundance is not the result of what you do for a living; it's a direct effect of your BEING choice, as in who you've chosen to be in a relationship to money.
As a human being, you have the awesome power of being able to make new BEING choices. What you may not know is that the Universe is set up, willing, ready and able to supply you with everything that belongs in the reality you've created with your new BEING choice.
JH, if you made a new BEING choice that changed your point of view and your relationship to money, you would be attracting money like a magnet attracts metal filings. You can be rich, no matter what you do for a living.
What you have in your life, right now, is exactly what belongs with the BEING choice you've previously made. So, the abundant life you seek is just on the other side of the new BEING choice that changes your relationship to money. So, you might want to ask yourself, JH, "Who would I be being if I were already rich?"
If you can make that new BEING decision and make it stick, the Universe will make you as abundantly prosperous as you could ever want to be.
The real problem JH, is that you probably won't be making that new BEING commitment, because a part of you does not want you changing who you're being. In fact, about 85% of all US citizens will retire poor because they didn't make it past that powerful resistance to change that we all have.
To learn more about your resistance to change and how to deal with it, you might want to read BEING THE SOLUTION. If you're interested, check the home page to learn how to buy the book.
PS: And, by the way, JH, there are a great many ways one can be rich than in having lots of money.
